Dodongo dislikes Flash pranks

Occasionally, The Brothers Chaps hide details that they don't want the viewer to see, primarily in Halloween teasers. If the Flash files are decompiled, a hidden message will be revealed in the place of where details might be expected to be.

Appearances

• Email the chair — Strong Bad's supposed picture of his parents instead reads "nice try dodongo!".
• All Halloween Teasers — The teasers feature messages hidden behind the silhouettes of the characters, visible upon attempting to view the Halloween costumes with a Flash decompiler.
  • Jibblies 2 Teaser: "nice try dan"
  • Most in the Graveyard Teaser: "no cigar" (derived from the phrase "close, but no cigar")
  • Doomy Tales of the Macabre Teaser: "sorry charlie"; also hidden are some rejected costumes from previous years
  • Halloween Safety: "hidden words"
  • The House That Gave Sucky Tricks Teaser: "dislike smoke" (referencing the hidden message from the chair)
  • Later That Night... Teaser: "total cop-out"
  • Haunted Photo Booth Teaser: "can't see this on youtube"
  • Mr. Poofers Must Die Teaser: "secret reading"
  • The Homestar Runner Enters the Spooky Woods Teaser: "oh blurry moon"
    • The Homestar Runner refers to the message from the chair when saying "Nice try, Dodongo!"
• Strong Bad Talking Plush: Untying the ties on the back of the doll's mask reveals the words "NICE TRY!"
