Martin Van Buren was the eighth President of the United States (1837-1841), and Vice President (1833-1837) under Andrew Jackson. He was also the first president born after the Declaration of Independence was signed, which gives him the nickname "the first American President". It isn't yet known whether The Cheat and Strong Bad idolize him or if they have something against him.
