The King of Town is a DVD-style rerelease and update of the first cartoon to feature the King of Town. The original toon is accompanied by a newly remade version, with optional commentary by Strong Bad, as well as production storyboards. In the toon, the King of Town sends Homestar and Pom Pom to investigate the whereabouts of his sheep.

The screen is styled after a typical DVD menu. The title "The King of Town", in fancy red script, and subtitle "special edition", in a modern metallic font, are printed in front of a stone wall reminiscent of the King's castle. Clicking a menu option will redirect to the chosen toon's page; once it finishes playing, the browser automatically redirects back to the menu.
