Hi there. I'd like to give you some advice to name your images something a bit more descriptive than "Picture 1". Usually we give images name that somewhat describe what they contain such as "Bubs's Cigar". Hope that helps! — Defender1031*Talk 13:36, 23 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Using Show Preview

Hello Record307, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. I knew about the button. It's just that I was editing one section. The reason i did keep pressing it was because i wanted to see how it looked with the other sections. For example, I was only editing Japanese culture greg. Then when I pressed the save edit button, it only showed the section by itself. In a case like that, you should edit the page as a whole, and then you'll see the preview as a whole. — Defender1031*Talk 21:26, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

That's why the sigbox is a guideline, and impossible to use as an all-around rule. If it's close, people usually don't complain. The problem comes when people have sigs that are double and triple the sigbox's length, not when they're a couple pixels bigger. — Defender1031*Talk 16:45, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Hello, Record307. Wanted to mention to you that whenever you make an edit summary, you should be sure it makes sense not only on Recent Changes, but also in the page's history. For example, this edit summary refers to the edit summary below it on RC, which means it won't make sense in the page history. Edit summaries last as long as the wiki does in page histories, while they disappear from RC in a few days, so it's much more important for summaries to make sense in pages histories.
