There was a lot of talk about this, but nobody corrected it until I stepped in and posted a contradiction in the article itself.  Even then I was told to simply post here, but that has been done repeatedly with no action taken.  Guess I should have just removed the reference, but I figured that would just be reverted if I didn't post an explanation.

::I'm not even sure what part of "Closer to the Heart" is supposed to sound like that. The guitar intro? Only similarity I can hear there is that they're both playing arpeggi. Geddy in the verses? Or the Lerxst guitar solo? Those don't really sound that similar at all. [edit] Hello!

There is no talk? Wow! Anyway, I'd like to ask why there is no mention of the blues intro that Strong Bad gives at the beginning of this email!?

--Stux 03:25, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)

That ain't the blues, that's Elvis. The Heartbreak...Hotel...Yeah...I'ma gunna add that now!

Actually, the opening riff is a pretty standard blues lick... 06:00, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Ooooh! Good ear! Don't forget where Elvis got his roots though! Jazz and Blues of course! --Stux 00:10, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Muumuus?

What the pants is a muumuu?

A muumuu is a loose dress of Hawaiian origin. They tend to be rather wide too. They're not as popular as the Aloha shirt, but they're still popular with tourists. See also the Wikipedia article. --DorianGray

[edit] Heartbreak Hotel

Sorry, but the intro song is nothing like Heartbreak Hotel. I thought it was "Roadhouse Blues" but it's not even that. But it sure ain't Elvis. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 02:00, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

There's a clip at Amazon. Note the kick in the verse in "Heartbreak Hotel" is "doo doo" while what SB sings is "doo doo doo doo". Very, very different. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 02:05, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

It seems to be a generic parody of blues songs, both musically and lyrically. --JohnnyLurg 10:23, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

[edit] Antique stores, huh?

Maybe that's where he bought the Compy 386.--Jnelson09 17:21, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Possible goof

Maybe I'm missing a point here, but at the end with the postcard options you can change the contrast but it returns to black at the end. Goof? I'd be amazed if it hasn't been brought up before, though. AK47x2 14:28, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Back to the STUFF

It's that CLOCK being stuck on 2:55 may be a reference to Back To The Future, where the Hill Valley clock tower is stuck on 10:04.

[edit] Two Cars

Is it possible that Strong Bad's going to Two Cars means that Free Country, USA likely is NOT in Tennessee? -WarthogDemon 00:19, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

I dunno... It's possible to go vacationing in other parts of the state (for example, Phliladelphians might go hang around in Pittsburgh for a vacation). --DorianGray
