| + | :This topic is too broad, in my opinion. If we were to actually list all of the abbreviated words, it would be an unbearably long article. Also, I think the title of the article is a bit misleading: when I navigated to this page, I thought it would be a list of abbreviations (SBASAF, etc.). At any rate, even if the name is changed, the topic is too broad: '''delete.''' {{User:Trey56/sig}} 23:01, 9 March 2008 (UTC) | ||

Discussion
Two of these, "'stache" and "staysh", are truncations heard in common parlance. I don't think they apply to the scope of the page. - Qermaq - (T/C)

- Truncations of common parlance is what this article here is about. MHarrington 04:36, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- But when the truncatons in question are common parlance, it's not notable. It's when the abbreviations are unique that we note them. - Qermaq - (T/C)

Rename
Rename to "Stache and similar words" or something like that. Awexome 00:01, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Why not "Staysh and similar words"? What are similar words? Those that begin with S? Those that have six letters? This is a most ambiguous name. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 07:06, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
