The name of the game

Sooo... Is this article about the Easter egg or the comics produced using the Easter egg? It seems that the name of the Easter egg would be "Make-O Your Own Stinko", while the comics are called "Stinkoman Sunday Fun Talk". This article reads as if it's about the Easter egg, so I suggest we move it to Make-O Your Own StinkoLoafing 05:44, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, it looks like that. Move. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 11:38, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Agree. Danny Lilithborne 22:20, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

I think both names are fine and either one applies. You can't have the comic without the tool, and the tool is pointless without the web comic result. I see them as two sides of the same coin. If TBC feature a gallery, maybe they'll clarify the name. I lean toward leaving it "Stinkoman Sunday Fun Talk" for now. — It's dot com 04:27, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure I believe that "Make-O Your Own Stinko" is the name of the comic generator — what if it's just the page title? That's what it sounds like to me, at least — one of the little page titles TBC put on their toons/games that doesn't quite correspond to the toon/game name. So, I lean toward keeping the article at the the name of the comic strip as well. Trey56 04:31, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
I lean in Trey's direction. Neither title is really definitive: one is a page title and thus would generally be given less weight than a title "within the frame", so to speak, while the other seems to apply to the finished product rather than the entire process. Example comic

ERROR IN IMAGE: "YOUR" should be "YOU'RE" "They're as different as night and day. Don't you think that night and day are different? What's wrong with you?"

I'm not sure the comic image should be there at all. --DorianGray 18:42, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
I think it was intentional. --Trogga 18:45, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
It's fanstuff. Away it goes. Loafing 19:00, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
But shouldn't we have an example of a stinkocomic? --Trogga 19:04, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
The problem with that is that people would fight over the image. "Mine is funnier!" "No, I want mine to go on the page!" --DorianGray 19:08, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
I'm hoping for some appearance of a comic in an official H*R feature, like a Hairstyle Runner-esque gallery or a Weekly Fanstuff... then we'll have something more official and neutral that we can include on this page. Trey56 21:49, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
I've posted something non-competitive and descriptive. Perhaps it will do. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 00:57, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Make-O Your Own Stinko!

I think Qermaq's idea of having an example comic that's taken from elements of the wiki is a good idea, but I wondered to myself if there was a way it could be done from the article space rather than the talk space. I think the result I came up with is neutral, informative, and representative of the game's various features. — It's dot com 04:01, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

If we're going to have a fan-made comic in the article, this is my favorite one so far: I like that it uses the four panels to inform about the features of the comic generator, which is the purpose of this page, anyhow. If TBC post any fan-made strips through Weekly Fanstuff or the like, I think we should consider updating the image, though. But who knows if that'll ever happen. Nice work! Should have a comma in the sentence "I wanna be the guy, too!" Oh, well. We can't all be "the guy"! Ha ha. Ooh, I just realized it's wrong in the transcript of japanese cartoon, too. I'll fix that. OptimisticFool 04:23, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
