Name change?
As I've been working on this, I've realized that almost all of the entries on this page are going to be countries. Also, "places" is rather non-specific, as it could include things like "Coach Z's Boudoir". I think what we're really interested in is Made-up Countries. Anybody object to me moving this page there? - But wouldn't we want to include made-up towns as well? I think we should keep the name, and specify in the intro that this is about geographical locations. Loafing

- And then there's things like the Sweet Sweet Rainbow Bridge and Cubeland, which are different from either of those things. --DorianGray 03:31, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
Real Fake Countries
Dortugal, Prance, and Potamia don't really belong here, because they weren't made up by the characters.
- You bring up a great question — I'm not so sure. I was thinking about this, and I put them on here because I figured that In Search of the Yello Dello was kind of like a movie that the Homestar Runner characters did (they even made a commentary and deleted scenes). If it's a movie, then they're fictional places. Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way, though...

- Oops, I didn't see your reply and deleted it straight away. I think that even if the characters made up the Yello Dello movie, the places are part of the legitimate story-telling. I think that places in this article should be ones where characters insist that they are part of their "real" world. To cover up lies, for example. Loafing

- So what should be included in the article? The suggestion of Sweet Sweet Rainbow Bridge (from flashback) would work. How about:
- Place (along with Land and Haggleston)
- Rotten Egglünd
- Neuconsin
- Big Old Tree (The Stick variation from different town)
- Folk Tale World
- Moses Maloneland
- Any others that are missing? Either way, this page will wind up being part disambiguation, part miscellaneous catch all. Also, we already have a list of this sort wbwolf (t | ed) 19:58, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
- So what should be included in the article? The suggestion of Sweet Sweet Rainbow Bridge (from flashback) would work. How about:
2 Things
1. The stone bridge from personal favorites is made up right?
2. The tour map with the cool tapes in welcome back had many made up cities right?
- The stone bridge later appeared for real in Date Nite. --DorianGray 23:17, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
- What about number 2?
- They're made up to us, but who's to say that they don't actually exist in the H*R universe and Cool Tapes really travelled to them? --DorianGray 23:27, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
