Cardboard Homestar is Homestar Runner's replacement while he "is on vacation." In his cartoon debut, however, the real Homestar was revealed to be locked in the closet. He he has only ever said, "Marzipan, you're so smart." He is the counterpart to Cardboard Marzipan, with whom he has a conversation in an Easter egg of Quality Time.
