• The Homestarmy poster was originally put up with the letter "m" removed, making it say "Homestary." Only a few hours after being up, the wall paper was changed to include the "m."

• Strong Bad's message "Every time that I look at myself, I can't believe how awesome I am!!!" is a quote from Strong Bad Sings.

Real-World References

• The Homestarmy poster is an obvious play on the poster featuring Uncle Sam with the words "I want you for the US Army!"
  • The Homestarmy poster and those flanking it are all based on war propaganda posters disseminated by the US government during World War II.
• The Support the Municipality Poster is a spoof of the posters seen in the game Beyond Good and Evil, for the Playstation 2.
