Sorry to be a scrooge here, but, well, it's like, depressing for me. And don't try to cheer me up. Because unless you are who I think and/or hope you are, I'm just gonna get more depressed. But it would be gladly appreciated if you manage to keep me from committing suicide.*

One Rainy Day

My love and affection for the Homestar Runner universe started one rainy day in the fifth grade. We had recess indoors, and 25 kids were shoved into a room. There was nothing to do, except...go on the internet! One student got onto the computer and pulled up The Cheat's character video. Students huddled around him and watched in awe as The Cheat told his story. As soon as I saw that gold tooth, I knew that this place was for me.

I went on H*R for a week or two after that with my hopes up, but my interest wasn't really sparked. But, in June of 2005, I was reintroduce to Homestar Runner and all of his friends by a friend of mine. After that, I was hooked. My first toon EVER was TGS Issue 1, and that series will by far remain my favorite of all that exists in the H*R universe. Oh yeah, and my first e-mail was cheatday.

I found this Wiki around June of 2005. I was browsing the Wikipedia, seeing if it had any articles on Homestar Runner and all of his friends. It gave me this site. Down below is some crap I did that I'm proud of.

• Attacked the STUFF pages and Talk pages
• Turned Kicking The Cheat from a stub to an article. Gotta love that guy!
• Joined the patrolling committee
• Helping tag images with "{{web-screenshot}}"
• Created:
  • Key-sword-tar
  • Ali and Ali's Sister

• Added questions to JoeyDay's trivia bot

DID YOU KNOW? I made the last edit of the day on December 27, 2005. So interesting...

And, well, now all I really do is ^that^ stuff while sitting around at a computer eating crackers.

It's dot com-The Wiki would not be where it is today without the dot comster. Definitely, no doubt about it one of the cool kids on the playground. He's helped me out of quite a few jams here and there.

 Bkmlb(talk·contribs)-He's a nice guy. I mean, he's a Cardinals fan and all...(sorry. Red Sox are for me). But he's pretty awexome over at the EBwiki too.

Sir Strong Bad-He's from 1939...you don't see that everyday, peoples. He's funny, got a good gang...what else do you need from someone that's 67 years behind you?

⇔Thunderbird⇔-One of the coolest sysops around here. Definitely. He's a real helper-outer, and even taught me how to take screenshots (see Characters Contacts). Just a few words to the T-bird: You rock, man. (hey, that almost rhymed!)

— Has Matt? (talk)-He's done a lot of great work around the Wiki. A really awesome, helpful, funny, gnome-sort of dude-person. I really wish I could do this much work. You are truly an oatmeal influence to everyone, Has Matt? (I dunno. Has he?).
