[edit] Welcome!

Welcome to the Homestar Runner Wiki, TwO 2 bReAdS iN a BiScUt, (whew!) the information knowledge base that anyone can edit. But don't worry. If you mess up a little bit, our Recent Changes Patrol Officers undo bad edits. I look forward to seeing your contributions. Remember, be bold and have fun!

Best wishes,

On another note. Please do not re-format other people's user page unless they ask. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 21:34, 15 October 2008 (UTC)
Sorry about that. I forgot to tell you that PartyBrd20X6 forgot her password and will edit on my account.
Forgotten password or not, it's still not acceptable. — Defender1031*Talk 18:13, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Using Show Preview

That one

Hello TwO 2 bReAdS iN a BiScUt, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, — Defender1031*Talk 17:54, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

You're doing it again. Please use it. It won't bite. =3 MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 21:44, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

You're still not using it. Please do, it will not bite. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 15:43, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

OK!! What IS IT that your TALKING about

I have added an image of the button to use for your convienience. — Defender1031*Talk 01:48, 21 December 2008 (UTC) OK!!!!!!!

IDON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT, also it keeps saying this This is only a preview; changes have not yet been saved!

Correct. and that lets you see what the page will look like when you DO save it, so you don't have to hit "save" every time you want to see it. — Defender1031*Talk 17:28, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
I couldn't help but notice that you made five consecutive edits to the same talk page in three minutes. I assure you, Show Preview is quite easy to use. Just click the button when you're done editing, and it'll give you a preview of what the page will look like when it's saved. This way, you can see any errors you've made or anything you want to change before you save it and add a recent changes entry. When you think it all looks good, then you press the save button at the bottom, and thus only making one edit. It's really quite convenient for those looking through page histories or patrolling recent changes. Thanks. —Guard Duck talk 03:04, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
