The Deke

The Deke is a basketball star forward, with the number 00. According to Words I Probably Said, he played on the same team as Strong Bad. During a dramatic game, The Deke received a pass from Reg at the top of the key, and slam-dunked it; during the team's celebration, The Deke accidentally shoved Strong Bad to the ground and then insulted him. A fake credits sequence in 8-Bit is Enough credits The Deke as being responsible for the slam dunks in Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People.
The Deke's Biscuit Gravy trading card shows him wearing a winter hat, fur coat, and large sunglasses rather than a basketball uniform. The image has facial hair crudely drawn on with Photoshop.
The Deke also has a media career. He "(perhaps)" provides a review of Strong Bad's rock opera in the email of the same name. He had a starring role in Axe-Gun: Legends of the Brain Outener.
A "deke" is a hockey term for a feint used to get past the defense; the term is occasionally used in other sports as well.
