[edit] Alternate image idea

Well, not that we need to have HSR-related images for every template, but here's an idea:

Personal image for signature
This image is a personal image in the signature of [[User:{{{1}}}|{{{1}}}]].
Certain restrictions apply.

I like that the original images match each other. They're kind of a set. Incidentally, the signature in the image on the template page is based on Matt Chapman's signature (loosely, so as not to get in trouble for using it). — It's dot com 22:20, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
Really? That's pretty cool. Trey56 22:25, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
Then how about Homestarizing the whole set? We did it for FA, cleanup and stub templates. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:55, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
I'm just playing around with the idea for fun; it's fine if we stick with the current template. But here's a compilation of the image I proposed for Template:personal-image with the above signature. Trey56 13:07, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

I like the one with only the sig. The one with both picture and sig is just too big. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 14:57, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
I like the original images better than any of the new suggestions. (And I'm not just saying that because I made them. Speaking objectively, I like the ones that form a set over the ones that are just reaching for H*R-related images.) — It's dot com 15:20, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
I definitely agree that it's good to have the three images match each other. And hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Trey56 18:15, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
