Homestar Runner characters enjoy watching televised events on pay-per-view. Usually, these are professional wrestling events.

• Email 2 years — "TIRE MADNESS!!!", the battle for the Title between the Tire and Strong Mad, is "only on pay per view".
• Email strong badathlon — Strong Bad thinks about putting Homestar vs. Homestar fights on pay-per-view. A poster visible in an Easter egg uses the homophone "paper-view".
• Teen Girl Squad Issue 13 — The Ugly One watches Ola Toya fight Camptown Jr. on television, calling herself "the queen of pay-per-view". Later, two policemen come over wanting to watch the fight.
• Email yes, wrestling — Facepaint Connection wrestler Strong Bad mentions "this Sunday's PayPerViewver Series", a portmanteau referencing the Survivor Series pay-per-view wrestling event.
