Back to the Future
From Homestar Runner Wiki
In 1985, Universal Pictures released Back to the Future. Directed by Robert Zemeckis and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, this science-fiction comedy stars Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly, a young man whose friend Dr. Emmett Brown constructs a time machine that takes Marty to his parents' adolescent years. The highest grossing movie of the year, Back to the Future spawned two sequels and a cartoon. The Homestar Runner characters seem to be entertained by Back to the Future since they incorporate elements of the movie into their cartoons.
[edit] Appearances
- Homestarloween Party — Bubs equips The Goblin's Gremlin with the Flux Capacitor, one of the time machine's main components.
- Strong Sad's Secret Styles — In the film reel showing Strong Bad and Strong Sad as kids, Lil' Strong Bad wears the vest Marty McFly had on in the first movie.

- Jibblies 2 — The Poopsmith dresses as Doc Brown, which Homestar Runner acknowledges in an Easter egg by modifying one of Doc's quotes, "Where we're going, we don't need roads".
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 15 — The Thugchantment at the Cloughb Dance is a third parody of the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance.
- Limozeen Live! - 27 Mar 2008 — Strong Bad's introduction to Everybody to the Limit is exactly the same as Marty's introduction to his performance of Johnny B. Goode.
