Many times on the Homestar Runner website, some words have had certain syllables be omitted, while still trying to mean the full word in question.
Appearances
- Email other days — Strong Bad claims that, "business casual friday" is known as "Biz Cas Fri" because they have to "abbreve" everything, and later claims that around the office, piemonade is known as p-nade.
- Lappynapped! — Strong Sad is waiting for Strong Bad at "the bus staysh".
- Decemberween Short Shorts — Coach Z's puke pail is labeled "Puke Pail For Whoev!"
- Email from work — Strong Sad says to Strong Bad, "My work staysh is asking me if I want to log off or log out."
- Email mini-golf — The statue of The Wheelchair at Sweet Puttin' Cakes has a sign next to it that reads "Statch!"
- Email pizza joint — Homestar tries to order "a slice of p-roni, with some t-sauce, and m-rooms". After Strong Bad tries to explain that it's not a real pizza place, he tries again, ordering a calzone with p-loaf and m-cheese. His Virtualpizz.biz avatar then tries again to order a slice of p-roni.
- Sickly Sam's Big Outing — Sickly Sam holds a box of chockle.
- Hremail 62 — Homestar abbreviates "education at the foundation" as "educaysh at the foundaysh".
- Kick-A-Ball — Strong Bad signs his modifications to the official rule book "the commish".
- Pistols for Pandas — Crack Stuntman is seen buying a box of cereal from a grocer who wears an apron that reads "grōsh" on it.

- Papes is often used as a shorted form of the word paper.
