::::Oh yeah. I guess all of those slipped my mind somehow. Thanks for the reminder. I also forgot that I transcribed Decemberween Dangeresque, so I'll go ahead and add the bunch. 22:53, 28 May 2018 (UTC)

:Okay, let's break this down. 86.143.235.165 made one edit in 2006 and received a talking-to for their edit summary. 64.230.121.252 made one edit in 2005, which was reverted two minutes later. Neither edit was a blockable offense, and something tells me these anonymous contributors from fifteen years ago won't be editing again very soon anyway. Nor do I have the ability to block anyone. And no, I haven't heard of Divine Comedy. 01:51, 2 May 2020 (UTC)

::Additionally Anonny 104: IP addresses have a tendency to change, so the intended recipients wouldn't receive the block for something they did fifteen years ago, or for frame of reference: five to several IP addresses ago, or maybe three or four computers ago. 06:11, 2 May 2020 (UTC)

what is Bedroom Scenes: A Rocky Horror Fan Film anyway?

Also read this. “In the scrapped ending of this short, available on its DVD release, a Kick The Cheat can be seen in Columbia's bed.  (Behind-the-scenes photos posted on the film's Facebook fan page show this much more clearly, including a couple photos specifically showing Columbia with her Kick The Cheat.)” 104.56.123.145

:I don't know. Sounds like a fan film of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It seems unlikely that the film or the information about it would be made up, simply because why?, but the fact that Google gives me no results for it tells me it might not be notable enough for the page anyway.

:Thank you from me as well! I always feel bad not updating the Tweets, but I keep putting it off... partially because I've also been meaning to clean up the archives of older Tweets, but then I don't work on that either... I'll get back to it soon and help out more. Groot joob on all the stuff! 02:28, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

::I'd also like to extend my thanks for this arduous work!  I, myself, have shied away from it for various reasons.  So I can only thank you for your help in keeping everything up to date!  If I had more free time I'd devote it towards writing a bot in python.  Maybe next year sometime?  In the meantime Keep on tranglin Larry! --Stux 02:52, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

:::Oh my goodness! Thank you all so much for the kind words! It means a lot to me! You three are awesome too and it's a pleasure wiki-ing with all of you. Flamingolegs, I know you've been around for half a year now but I keep meaning to say, welcome to the wiki! You've done a lot of great work around here yourself and it hasn't gone unappreciated. Stux, the bot thing sounds interesting! I have some experience in Python but I don't know anything about wiki bots or the Twitter API. Maybe I'll look into it sometime. 04:30, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

::::Regarding the bot, and in case you're interested, discussion can be found here.  I spun off a technical section with relevant information and links.  At some point I should probably start a github project.  We'll see what happens.  But if you're feeling adventurous and have time, there's your starting point! :D --Stux 08:17, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi Lira,

Regarding and .  I would like to request that in addition to removing the links from the text that you could also provide an alternative place where to include these links.  I added them there because I could not think of a better place to add them.  And I do think the links are useful.  By simply reverting them there is a risk that the edits are lost for any variety of reasons.  If you don't think that they are then please indicate as such along with the revert.  If you agree that they're useful then please include a viable alternative as well.  Normally I'd try to find such alternative but I'm wracking my brain updating something else in addition to working my day job (and watching history unfold).  So I could use the help.  Thanks! --Stux 17:46, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

:Hi Stux, I'm sorry for the unconstructive reverts. I was editing on my phone at the time and I was partly trying to make sure I didn't lose track of the issues myself in the recent changes pile. I've restored the link to The Next April Fools Thing on @StrongBadActual Tweets 2019. As for the other links I removed, they all appear at least once elsewhere on the respective page. Thanks for your tireless editing and upkeep, and here's hoping that history starts unfolding kindly for once! 23:14, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

::Hey Lira, no worries.  Thank you for so promptly! I haven't worked with these tweets and the tweet template enough to know what the best options are. As for the rationale for keeping the other links removed: I hadn't thought about that before and it makes sense when compared to our usual practice in the wiki.
+
-
::However, I have a different perspective when it comes to @StrongBadActual tweets: each tweet post feels to me like its own micro-article. Each has its own independent context (unless multiple tweets are explicitly linked together) and so it would make sense if each tweet has its own set of links.  Not only that, the sheer volume of tweets makes it difficult, if not nearly impossible to find that "other link" to the same topic.
+
-
::That's why I was aiming to make it as easy as possible to find a link to the relevant topic being discussed in that tweet.  Now, if two tweets are part of the same conversation and are really close to each other (they touch or are 1 tweet away) then it would make sense to avoid multiple linking.  Nevertheless, I personally think that should be the exception rather than the rule.  Having said all that, Tweets are a relatively new medium for the wiki and we're all trying to figure things out as we go!  Also, thanks again for keeping the tweets up to date! --Stux 23:35, 20 January 2021 (UTC)

:::You make a good point about convenience and I can't say that didn't occur to me before. For me it's a bit of a thin line to walk between wanting to provide the reader with adequate information and not wanting to bulk up the already massive tables with fun facts just for the sake of hanging a link. I like to use reply descriptions for linking to relevant pages, but that's not always applicable. Linking right in the tweet text as you did would be an elegant solution if not for the fact that links sometimes appear in the actual tweet and I don't want to get those things confused. In general, though, I agree with your attitude of more links over fewer. 01:34, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
