Additionally, it's worth pondering why Strong Bad would need/want Strong Mad with a sock puppet in place of his regular sidekick. Perhaps it could be added to their realtionship page, but I doubt it. The Cheat could've just been doing something, like making his 'indie-tronic' Geddup Noise remix. So, disregard that unless you want some food for thought. Not much food, though. Possibly a chicken nugget for thought. --[[User:HRWiki Greg|FIFTH GREG! HRWiki Greg]] 04:51, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

The Name Game

As well as being an anagram of Cheat, Teach is the result of reversing the phonemes in Cheat (a t sound, a hard e sound, and a ch sound). --The Real Zajac 16:08, 27 Sep 2005 (PDT)

  • It's also the antonym of Cheat. --Dwedit 05:03, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
    • Cheating is not the opposite of teaching. Theoretically, someone could cheat to avoid teaching, but someone could cheat to avoid doing anything. Cheating is more often associated with being the opposite of learning(even though that is very specific; cheating is really the opposite of doing something fair or by the rules). --Der Pepper

Teach Contributions

"It's possible that The Teach contributed to The Cheat's indie-tronic remix of the Geddup Noise."

Really? What evidence do we have of this? —Gafaddict Image:Gafaddict sigpic.gif (Talk | Contribs.) 22:10, 6 Oct 2005 (UTC)

None, as far as I can see. All we have is that he was dancing to it in the Easter egg, and lip-synced some of the lines in that same egg. But that's no real contribution. If that's what it took to contribute, we could all be credited for it eventually. --DorianGray

As far as I can tell, he's just Strong Mad's hand shoved into a blue sock. How would he contribute? --The Real Zajac 02:25, 10 October 2005 (UTC)

Eh? Whay hasn't that one been taken off, yet then? oh, I'll do it...(too lazy to log in, I'm That Crazy DumDe!.)

Necessary

Do we really need this page? It was only seen once in one toon. And, yes, I did it again. I'm trying to use the + button. In fact, I used it today. Don't PM me again. Awexome 23:44, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Really?

While The teach deserves mention, I dont belive that there is enough info for its own article, as it appers once foe five seconds. maybe merge with something else? Ilovehr

Such as? I think the article length is fine. There's nothing wrong with a short article. --DorianGray 11:01, 18 October 2009 (UTC)
And besides, sometimes, the article just has to be interesting enough. Even though this one does meet the criteria, it seems not all have to be noteworthy.--Jellote wuz here 11:58, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

In the Original Book Commentary

The Teach is referenced in the commentary for the Original Book, but it may just have been a Freudian Slip. It can apparently be used interchangeably with 'The Cheat'. Another thing like this might be 'The Chet', used in the One, Two commentary.

--FIFTH GREG! HRWiki Greg 04:51, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
