Okay, how can someone not see the similarity of having a decorative item on a desk with something written on it that changes every week? - Opus the Penguin 22:23, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Floppy discs have games and programs on them, and are marked as such. Mugs are used as a form of personal expression and the fact that it has been different each times is, without a doubt, a reference to the other running gag (floppy discs) which changed weekly but otherwise served no purpose as Homestar's mug does. - Opus the Penguin 21:12, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
