Help me! I tried adding a link to my image and it doesn't works! Darkangel Get offa me!

A link via an image can only be accomplished by linking with an absolute URL, as demonstrated at this anchor. — Lapper (talk) 05:08, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

More Customization Explanations?

Should we include how to make your signature different for different namespaces? My curiousity about how to do this led me to dismantling The Mü's sig (but of course not saving it). --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 23:22, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

The technique The Mu used is a ParserFunction, as explained there. What one wishes to do to one's signature beyond that of normal curiosity is one's own business, and we simply don't need to include every possible customization. — Lapper (talk) 23:25, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Possibly, but I think that the instructions for creating a sig need to be broken up into two sections: a simple couple steps to get it ready for use, and then another section for more advanced modifications (under which your suggestion would fall). I intend to work on this soon; after that, it may be easier for you to work in your idea... Trey56 23:28, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I tried to make it simpler to find the basic information for new users. Now, the advanced customization stuff is all at the bottom, so more info can be added there without disrupting the flow of the page. Trey56 03:00, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
Looks good, Trey. Now we decide if we really need more stuff to go on there. I think we could get some examples of how a certain customization would look as well (i.e. for color we could have a fake sig with custom colorings on it). --Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 03:06, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Span tag

Something is wrong with the span tag. I think I bwoke it. Only font-size still works; the interpreter ignores all other style attributes.· · T2|Things 00:01, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Is this what you're trying to do? If not, what are you trying to change? Trey56 00:05, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure you've seen the font Castellar, but it looks nothing like Arial (or whatever the wiki uses). In my confusion, I listed the color as #339; I intended to list #900, which also produces no result. #900 is a dark red, though it still shows up as blue. I've done span tags nearly identical to this one about 4 or 5 times today (validation work); they've all been successful on the first try.· · T2|Things 00:11, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
As far as the color goes, you need to put the span stuff inside the link, like I did above (I also updated the color to #900). As far as the font goes, you're probably better off using a different one; I would guess that most people don't have that font on their computers. Trey56 00:16, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
It's preinstalled. At least it was preinstalled on my computer.· · T2|Things 00:20, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
Okay — not on mine, though. At any rate, your sig looks fine now. Trey56 00:21, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
