This article is about the answering machine itself. For the feature, see Marzipan's Answering Machine.
Old-tech

This was Marzipan's first Answering Machine, which first appeared in Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 1.0. Strong Bad once used it to ask Marzipan where The Cheat was at in Where's The Cheat? before turning it into a prank call. In one of the made-up emails from personal favorites, Strong Bad left such a good prank call on the machine that it exploded. Marzipan replaced it with the PhoneTime XL8 in Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 9.2. Strong Bad had also once stolen Marzipan's first answering machine. He had tried to sell it at a garage sale to Marzipan. She was interested, until she realized that it was hers.

The King of Town also has an Answering Machine', which is seen at the end of The King of Town DVD commentary.

Strong Bad uses an answering machine to find his missing Lappy 486 and a kick-awesome guitarist in Missing Lappy.
