Do you have a reason you're continually changing the wording of Don and Harriet Chapman? Most users have agreed that the "passed away" wording is better, so please stop changing it (if you think there is a reason it should be changed, please explain). Thank you. It's because I never really liked people using the term "Passed Away" for dead people. It gives me more of the feeling said person got in a car and drove away rather than died.

Understandable. However, the cool thing about a wiki is that it's not just your project; it's the result of community consensus. Which means just because a euphemism bugs you, you don't have the sole right to change it. A better way to do it would be to go to the talk page and make your case there; your eloquence and persuasive evidence just may change the group opinion. (Seriously, it's happened about other stuff!) Just changing it back and forth is just boring, though. And now that it's been explained clearly, future changes will be met with less patience. Seriously, it's not worth getting yourself banned over; just take it on full-scale, the Wiki Way! (Or better yet, swallow hard and move on.) —AbdiViklas 20:57, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
