Sometimes the word awesome gets used in contexts where one might not normally use it. It might have even become one of Strong Bad's catchphrases, along with, "Holy Crap!"

Several of the emails from viewers include uncharacteristic uses of the word "awesome". Only those instances in which Strong Bad remarked on the word will be listed here.

As A Noun

• Email some kinda robot — Strong Bad asks Abdi LaRue if he uses his super powers "for good, or for awesome".
• Email butt IQ — Strong Bad boasts, "On a scale of one to awesome, I'm super great".
• Email band names — Dan suggests "For Good Or For Awesome" as a band name.
• Email coloring — The email begins, "Dear Awesome". Strong Bad responds, "Oh! Somebody finally got it right!"
• Strong Bad Gameways — Strong Bad boasts to have an "awesome-based crew".
• Strong Badia the Free — After Strong Bad conquers Pompomerania, the reporter says, "Maybe we should all start brushing up on our 'awesome'! "
• Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective — The highest rank has the label, "Codename: Awesome!"
• SBCG4AP Collector's DVD — An ad on the Store Front Page boasts, "Get all 5 awesome-packed actionsodes of Strong Bad's point-and-click-em-up adventure game on one DVD!"

• A Secret Page consists of Strong Bad raising his hands repeatedly next to text reading, "I am awesomer than you."
• Email CGNU — Strong Bad advertises that Crazy Go Nuts University could help the viewer become "a better, awesomer you".
• Email monster truck — Strong Bad advertises Awexome Cross 98.
• Email local news — Strong Bad boasts that Action Cool 5 is "investiga-awesome".
• Drive-Thru — Strong Bad precedes the bottle rocket's launch by telling The Cheat, "This is gonna be bro-awesome".
• Homestar Ruiner: Strong Bad boasts that he'll check emails from "Awesome to Zawesome".
• Strong Badia the Free — Strong Bad pulls out a glowing drink and tells Pom Pom, "prepare to be blinded by awesomosity".
• Baddest of the Bands:
  • Bubs claims to have an "omnipotent, omnipresent, and omni-awesome" security robot.
  • Strong Bad exclaims that spending a day with Limozeen sounds "so Tremendously-awesome-that-it-kinda-hurts-my-brain-and-I-maybe-need-some-aspirin!"
• Baddest of the Bands, Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective, and 8-Bit is Enough — Strong Bad calls the Max shirt, "the most rarest, awesomest shirt ever!"
• Email dictionary — Costrick calls Strong Bad, "the superest, awesomest guy ever", and says that makes him "sawesome", prompting Strong Bad to share other portmanteaus. Also, Strong Bad uses the word "zawesome" again.
• Poker Night at the Inventory — Strong Bad says "Flops are stupid, but floppy disks are analog-awesome."

• Email space program — Strong Bad admits that The Strong Badian Administration of Some Aluminum Foil blew their budget on their "kick-awesome" logo.
• Lappynapped! — Strong Bad seeks a "kick-awesome guitarist".
• Homestar Ruiner — Strong Bad desires a "kick-awesome" trophy.

Miscellaneous Appearances

• Homestar Talker — Originally, the phrase, "Making out with Marzipan is totally awesome!" unlocked the Strong Bad Talker.
• Email cartoon — Strong Bad informs the viewers that "Too much of a good thing is an awesome thing. But too much of an awesome thing is...umm...really, really dumb and bad."
• Bubs's Character Video — Bubs closes the video with his Concession Stand's slogan, "We're always awesome!"
• Email flashback — Strong Bad sings, "Email is awesome! Email is weird!" while the words "awesome" and "weird" appear onscreen.
• Email rock opera — The word "awesome" gets sung twice in a row.
• Bug in Mouth Disease — Strong Sad watches a program explaining "Why come Shakespeare was so awesome".
• Quote of the Week — One quote features Blue Laser Commmander saying, "Awesome! Just awesome!"

• Homestar Ruiner — Strong Bad tells Homestar that "Awesome Strong Bad" stole Homestar's criminal record. Homestar bemoans that even Awesome Strong Bad couldn't have pulled that off.
• Baddest of the Bands — Strong Bad requests an autograph made out to "Awesome Strong Bad". Marzipan gives Strong Bad an autographed Cool Tapes picture reading, "To Awesome Strong Bad. You are not awesome. Love, Marzipan."
• Most in the Graveyard — Strong Bad exclaims, "This is awesome!" after learning The King of Town's castle has a 200-acre cemetery behind it.
• Punkin Stencils — One of the Easter Eggs in the 2009 version has Homestar lament the fact hardly anyone remembers that Stinkoman got his name from a piece of the "awesome stupid stuff" he says.
