Occasionally, characters will emit hearts from their heads as a visual expression of feelings of pleasure.

• Twenty THANXty Six — 1-Up emits hearts when he's thankful for Pan Pan's epiglottis.
• Doomy Tales of the Macabre — Homestar Runner emits hearts when Strong Sad removes his knees as the sensation gives him good thoughts.
• Email do over — Homestar, dressed as The Cheat, emits hearts when he thinks he's falling for Strong Bad.
• Email geddup noise — Homestar emits hearts when he hears the Chairscoot noise.
• Teen Girl Squad Issue 4 — So and So emits hearts thinking about Brett Bretterson.
