Pumpkin Carve-nival was 2002's Halloween toon. Herein, Homestar Runner throws another Halloween party which the other main characters attend. This time, the apparent main event involves everyone carving pumpkins which get judged. Homestar goes around to the different characters' pumpkin carvings and, assisted by The Cheat, gives them different (and, in many cases, unusual) ribbons for them (with some carvings' ribbons being better than others), landing them in various rating positions. But once the pumpkins have all been rated, and prompted by Marzipan for Homestar's questionable rating system, it turns out that "Homestar" is really Strong Bad in disguise, as part of a big prank on the others, and he is the ultimate winner (the "Strong Bad" that one sees mostly in the cartoon is actually played by The Goblin).
