Even after Marzipan last evolved, she still sometimes had her old mouth, as well her newer one, especially early on when she just got her new design. It is a possibility that there may be times that she has a cartoon-like smile to emphasize happiness, as opposed to her more realistic smile used more regularly.

- TV Time Toons Menu — In the Joy of Painting Easter egg, Marzipan as Bob Ross has her old mouth.
- Email helium — Marzipan has her old mouth when the viewer first sees her, after The Cheat inflates from helium and floats away.
- Email your friends — Marzipan has her old mouth when Strong Bad tries to get her to hold out her hands so he can give her a saw blade.
- Pumpkin Carve-nival — At the very beginning, when her pumpkin is being judged, and in the big group shot at the end, Marzipan has her old mouth.
- Email marzipan — She has her old mouth before and after she plays her song on Carol.
- Email the bet — When one first sees Marzipan in the Easter egg with Homestar, she has her old mouth.
- Email secret recipes — Marzipan has her old mouth while she is reading the newspaper.
- Halloween Potion-ma-jig — Marzipan uses an inverted form of her old mouth in several scenes for her Beaker costume.
- Weclome Back — At the end, she has her old smile.
- Date Nite — She has her old mouth while on The Stone Bridge with The Cheat.
