Ding! Homestarmy is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. We also might just think it's cool. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

Deletion

I like this page. It's got some good information, and with three locations on the site, I think it's an important Inside Joke. Especially since it looks like the Homestarmy could be used in the future, this page has the possibility of getting a lot bigger later on. [[User:Thunderbird L17|⇔Thunderbird⇔]]

As far as I know, this article isn't pending deletion. And neither is this talk page (now). →[[User:FireBird|FireBird]]
Good. I was a little bewildered why it would be...

Who's in Charge here?

First of all, Homestar wouldn't be colonel, since he's in charge. In fact, wouldn't owning his own army make him a warlord? Secondly, I think Strong Sad may be his junior officer, seeing as how he takes a more active role in the Homestarmy than the others.

Homestar isn't smart enough to know army ranks. So he assumes that Colonel is the highest. --Stinkoman KTalk 16:25, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

Third style private is less than colonel, right? we can only assume, since Homestar is in charge, that the rest have ranks lower than colonel.-user:Strongbadia Resident

I think you're right about Strong Sad. As for the warlord bit, yes technically Homestar is a warlord, but I don't think that should be acknowledged. He's not the warlord type.-User: Private Martin of the Homestarmy

i dont think strong sad makes sense in the homestarmy since its kinda obvious he doesnt like homestar much.forgive me i didnt know how to start a talk thingy--Valf 20:16, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Redundance

I think that we should delete all the material concerning the Battle of Strongbadia from this page, since there is now a page dedicated to it. The edit would be something like this:

...resulting in the fiasco known as The Battle of Strongbadia. Following this humiliating defeat, the Homestarmy returned to their duties...

If anybody has any reason not to do this, then say so. -User: Private Martin of the Homestarmy

I have no reason for you not to, so go right ahead Martin of the Homestarmy.--Gir007 00:41, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

It is done. So if you had any reason not too, its too late. SUCKA!!!-User: Private Martin of the Homestarmy

USD for you and me

How do we know the five bucks is in U.S. dollars? Does Free Country, USA have it's own currency? Maybe it's the "Earth Dollars" from space program. Or, considering Homestar, he may not even mean dolars. He could mean reindeer! Or maybe ducks. I think instead of "$5.00 USD" it should just read "Five Bucks."

...um... (looks around) ...I'ma go ahead and change it and see how many people riot. (Or see if it gets reverted within 5 seconds like anything else I ever try to change...)--Antisexy 00:52, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

It's Free Country, USA. TBC are from the USA. Therefore, it's safe to assume they mean USD. I mean, if they say "five loonies", we're gonna assume Canadian dollars, not five loons. Bluebry 01:09, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
I think the matter of whether the characters live in the actual United States is irrelevant. Homestar always refers to the fee as "five bucks", so it's probably better (and funnier) if the article reflects that. Has Matt? (talk) 03:54, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Yes. And also, the way it lists "Price" makes it sound like the Homestarmy is an item for sale. Mayhaps it should say "Membership Fee" or "Enlistment Dues"--Antisexy 04:02, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
"Membership Fee" sounds good. Has Matt? (talk) 04:09, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
