Welcoming Committee

I'm glad that you are welcoming some new users, but your user page says that only people on the Welcoming Committee are allowed to welcome people. This is not the case; anyone may welcome a new user as they wish. The Welcoming Committee is used as a community portal to see and contact users on a particular committee. —BazookaJoe 02:48, 15 Aug 2005 (UTC)
