Melonade

Melonade is a preferred drink of Homestar Runner. It first appeared in "A Jumping Jack Contest", where The Cheat offered Homestar 147 glasses of it, and got refills from Strong Mad's melonade pump. Homestar Runner usually eats about 147 marshmallows before drinking a tall glass of melonade. According to Marzipan, it is a key element of summertime.

During melonade shortages it can sell for as much as $2 per gallon.

Homestar also ruined the wood that Strong Bad stole from Marzipan's Luau after drinking 32 glasses of melonade.

A good recipe for melonade is:

1 litre of water

1 1/2 cups of sugar

half a watermelon

Juice melon and pour with water and sugar into a blender. Blend on 'juice' setting. Continue applying ingredients until desired flavor mixture is reached.

Additionally, the word 'melonade' refers to an alcoholic drink sold at restaurants such as "Famous Dave's" and "Buffalo Wild Wings". A common recipe would be:

1 oz Midori® melon liqueur

2 oz Skyy® vodka

1 oz sweet & sour mix

1 splash of Sprite

Pour into ice-filled glass, stir.

It has not been determined whether Homestar drinks the alcoholic or the non-alcoholic version.
