Although Marzipan is officially the girlfriend of Homestar Runner, she has occasionally expressed interest in The Cheat. The Cheat also expresses interest in her. These moments have varied greatly from strictly business to subtle hints of romance, which have culminated into Marzipan and The Cheat going on two dates. The Cheat and Marzipan also occasionally express displeasure for each other. Apparently, The Cheat does not love Marzipan strongly enough to deny Strong Bad assistance in tormenting her.

• Email mile — Powered by The Cheat Marzipan has a thought balloon reading "I ♥ that Cheat."
• Happy Fireworks — Cardboard Marzipan asks The Cheat if he wants to go on a "secret hot date" after his head explodes.
• Email do over — An Easter egg shows Marzipan with The Cheat dressed as Homestar and covered in lipstick kisses.
