Trogdor the Burninator is an S-shaped wingaling dragon with a beefy arm whose sole purpose in life is to burninate the countryside, peasants, and the peasants' thatch-roofed cottages. Trogdor sprung from the wild imagination of Strong Bad, and has since appeared in several games and toons.

- A reference is made to Trogdor in the series finale (#722, "Chosen") of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In the scene, several characters are in a roleplaying gaming session and one of the players is confronted with a situation that begins, "You go through the door and are confronted by Trogdor the Burninator."
- Trogdor was elected as a hall representative at the University of South Carolina. However, Trogdor stepped down from the position at his first meeting.
- There is also a possible reference to Trogdor in "Custom Robo" (Japanese subtitle "Battle Evolution"), a video game for the Nintendo GameCube. In Story Mode, on Day 3, one of the (incorrect) choices for Question #7 of the first license exam happens to be "Parts Burninator."
- Burninator also could be a reference to a 3-part movie series called Terminator.
- A very small video game-creating company picked Trogdor as their "Wyvern of the Week" on January 3rd, 2005. See the Wyvern of the Week page here.

- Trogdor is referred to in Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls for GBA. In the Hellfire Chasm in Final Fantasy 1, the floor that has lots of NPC's blocking your path has one that tells you "This is private property. Trespassers will be burninated!"
- In the game Guild Wars there is a reference to Trogdor through the Elementalist skill Rodgort's Invocation. If you spell Rodgort in reverse, you get Trogdor.
