"Keep rocking it."

The year 1987 was apparently an unusually eventful year in the Homestar Runner universe. It was the year in which, among other events, Strong Bad used to hang out with his main man Van Mundegaarde, productivity was down and the No Loafing Sign was put up, and when Strong Bad last checked that anime was called Japanimation. The DVD commentary for monster truck reveals that 1987 was the year in which Donnie Chapman dressed as Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe and Matt Chapman dressed as Evel Knievel for Halloween. At Flashforward 2006 Seattle, Mike mentioned that Matt won an award at a media festival for stop motion clay animation when he was in the seventh grade in 1987, but whether there is any further significance of the year to The Brothers Chaps remains in the realm of speculation.
