I know that the [[Sega Tapes]] page is slightly different gag, but aren't most of these references covered there? Perhaps there should be a '''merge''' of the two articles. At very least, there needs to be a cleanup. {{User:Wbwolf/sig}} 17:48, 7 August 2009 (UTC) | I know that the [[Sega Tapes]] page is slightly different gag, but aren't most of these references covered there? [edit] Maybe some fighting or challenge?
I know that the Sega Tapes page is slightly different gag, but aren't most of these references covered there? Perhaps there should be a merge of the two articles. At very least, there needs to be a cleanup. wbwolf (t | ed) 17:48, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- If anything, the tapes could be merged into this. free 17:52, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- I think, as it stands, the two concepts are sufficiently different to maintain separate pages, but let's wait a bit before we decide for sure. -132.183.151.31 18:11, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- Those references are not here, and these references are not there. There's a specific running gag involving "sega tapes", and a different one involving references to sega games or characters. Keep. — Defender1031*Talk 18:41, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- Rethinking it, this could definitely be kept. free 18:44, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) I just cleaned up the page, added a reference to Awexome Cross, fixed position of links, and changed some links from redirect pages. Sega rivaled Nintendo in the eighties as well, with the SG-1000 (1983) Master System (1986) and Genesis (1988). This is a good article, and is much different from Sega tapes. Keep.

- Thanks everyone. After noticing the reference to "Sonic, I mean Tails", I decided to see if I could create a Sega page. StarFox 20:10, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- I think the content of this page should stay: it makes a good article to go along with Nintendo, Atari 2600, and Intellivision. As for the question of whether Sega Tapes should be merged into it, I see the argument for that, but I think that's an important running gag on its own and should not be relegated to a subsection of this page.
