The system will replace any instances of the '''tags alone''' with with one random Homsar quote. If there is anything between the tags, you must use <code><nowiki><!--hq--></nowiki></code> to show where the quote goes. (For example, it's necessary to use the comment for an image caption because the system creates alternate text for the image based on the caption.)

To use this feature

<homsarquote/>

The system will replace any instances of the single tag with with one random Homsar quote. If there is anything at all in between the tags, it will generate an error.

Difference from previous version

The old version of this function used a pair of tags (<homsarquote></homsarquote>) for use in regular text or a comment (<!--hq-->) for use in image captions. These methods are not supported in the current version. As mentioned above, using them will generate an error.

Note: These specs may change without notice.

Now I get it!

Okay, now I see what you were using the page for! Clever. However, while playing around with it, a blank appeared in place of a quote once. Just a heads up. --Jay (Gobble) 20:20, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, good job on this, Dot comster. Keep on making...awesome stuff. — Seriously (Talk) 20:21, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

I fixed the blank bug. The script uses the asterisks to delimit the quotes, and it counts the empty space in front of the first asterisk as the first item in the list. I set it to ignore that one. — It's dot com 20:28, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

Quote add...

"I'm not gonna lie to you, that's a healthy piece of real estate!" One of my favorites. --Da M-izz-uTizzalk 18:57, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

Added it. --phlip TC 14:52, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
"Caramel corn for president, please!", is missing as well. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 22:33, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
