Cool name
That is an awesome username. Would I be right in thinking that you are a fan of Tolkien's writings (since I'm pretty sure that name doesn't come up much, if at all, in Peter Jackson's films)? Heimstern Läufer 03:18, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
- You're right, Tolkien is one of my heroes. I just read that you are studying music at UCSB. I'm currently in my freshman year (ha a little baby compared to you) majoring in English Ed at BYU-Idaho, but I am on a Trombone scholarship. So do you play a musical instrument or are you vocal? Actually I have a few ties to that part of California. I'm going to be serving a mission for my church for the next couple of years after this semester. My area covers Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Kern counties. Anyways, nice to meet you. This wiki site is kooler than i thought. --Kingelessar23 03:52, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
- I really liked trombone when I studied it for a semester (my primary instrument was horn, but I also studied trumpet, trombone, and tuba (and also a bunch of non-brass instruments, if they count)). Welcome to the wiki! (To answer your question, it's perfectly acceptable to reply directy under another person's comments. In fact, it's encouraged, since it keeps the discussion in one place.) — It's dot com 04:10, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
- Well, like Dot com, I was originally a horn player. Of late, though, I've been doing vocal stuff, specifically, Schubert songs (wonderful music, if you're not familiar with it). Even that is on a hobby basis rather than being part of my studies, since I'm an academic in music rather than a performer. As for the question you asked me on my talk page, TBird and Dot com have already answered it for you. Talk atcha later! Heimstern Läufer

Trombonist?
I'm a trombonist, and so is Bassbone. What style of music you play mostly? I'm rock/jazz. - Qermaq - (T/C) 05:05, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
