What are you supposed to be?
Every year various main characters participate in Halloween by dressing up in Halloween costumes. These costumes are often obscure celebrities from the 1980's and 1990's. The characters often dialogue at the end of the toon and comment about each other's costumes. The problem is that they quite often can't tell what the person is supposed to be.
Occurences
- Homestar thinks Strong Bad is the Chaquita Banana lady, while in actuality, he was Carmen Miranda.

- Homestar thinks Strong Bad is the Spanish Inquisition as well as that Strong Bad was Cab Calloway, and Strong Bad wearing a yellow turtleneck, while in actuality he was Carmen Sandiego.
- Marizpan doesn't know that the King of Town is Mario from the Nintendo game Super Mario Bros because she doesn't play video games.
