Thanks for recommending It's dot mom, I now have a user account. However, I will not be able to do anything with it for a few days, my Grandma just got out of the hospital (she had her appendix removed). So I won't be able to do anything big for a while. Weclome!
Hey there, Bronco! I'm guessing your name is from Bronco Trolleys? Man, I'd almost forgotten that thing even existed. Anyways, I notice you were testing things out on the guitar page... please use HRWiki:Sandbox for any other tests you want to do, since testing in articles will normally be reverted quickly. Also, check out the Help:Editing page if you would like to learn more about contributing to the wiki. Thanks, and keep on tranglin'. --phlip TC 13:31, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Deleting files
Recently you said something about wanting to delete a file you've uploaded. You actually can't do that. What you can do is ask for it to be deleted by using the {{delete}} template, which will add a box to the page that says the page should be deleted. Hopefully a sysop (i.e. a user who can delete pages) will notice it and delete it for you. For example, you might try writing "{{delete|failed attempt for use in user page}}" in addition to the description. Hope that helps. The Knights Who Say Ni

- Why thank you, kind sir! (ONION BUBSSS!!! ONION BUBS!!) Unfortunately, I also don't know how respond properly so I'm just editing my own talk page. These kids and their fangled HTML codes and fancy wireless phones! I clicked the delete template page and it says it is pending deletion. The irony! <<(Sorry about the its there.)
- On this wiki, responding properly is generally done on the same talk page so as to keep all the relevant discussion in the same place. So you got that much right. Each further response is generally done by adding a colon to the beginning of your response, which indents it. (adding two colons indents it twice, etc.) And in order to sign your talk post, just type ~~~~ to make your signature and the time appear. And every template page has an example of itself on the page so you know what it looks like.

- is one colon alright or do I need to add indents consecutively?
- Like this? As for signature, --
BroncoTroll☺ I was wondering how to change font size.
- Like that. We have a limit of twenty pixels in height per customized signature, so changing font size is generally discouraged. You can change the font style though, by adding "font-family:font;" into the span tag. If you want a wider font, you can replace the red text with that font's name.

- Like I said, it can only be 20 pixels tall. Here's a box to tell you how big your signature can be:
and here is a visual example of how to use it. It also has to be a text version of your user name, so I'm sorry to tell you, but you can't use the newly created picture of your name in your signature. Also, you've uploaded lots of personal images in the past few days. Per our standards, you're only allowed to keep three of them, and that's if one of them is included in your signature. It keeps things from getting out of hand. Thanks for understanding.

- Ahh, I was just about to scale it down to 20 px. With text I will only have 3 personal images, as others are unused/ non personal (One on my user page, and two in the signature).

Signature
Hey there Broncotroll, I notice that your custom signature violates a few of the policies about signatures. First of all, "Your signature must include a text version of your username, with a link to your user page." Yours appears to lack the link. Secondly, "A background other than white is strongly discouraged, and any such background must be confined to the immediate text area. Borders or blinking (or anything else that gives undue salience to a signature) are not allowed". To me, the stark contrast of the black background gives your signature undue salience. Hope that helps! — Defender1031*Talk 02:17, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- Right so I'm currently working on those links (I'm not very good at html) and is there anyway the links don't turn my words blue? I mean, I know there is, but how? Thanks! As for the unique salience, I know I'm bending the rules a bit but I was hoping it would work as it wasn't explicitly forbidden- and I'm going for a very specific 1986 Loz File look. --
BroncoTroll☺ 02:53, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- I can help you out not making them blue if you want. Also, links won't work on images. About the look, that determination is not mine alone to make. (Whisperingly, I personally appreciate the look you're going for.) — Defender1031*Talk 03:04, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- (Whisperingly) Thanks. Here's the coding (not here anymore) which must be glitchy cause both links appear on the sig page while only one random one appears when I insert my signature on a page. I tried to look at the code for your signature as reference, but it looked like the quadratic formula exploded. --
BroncoTroll☺ 03:17, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for the help! It does work perfectly on the sig page, but only one link works at a time when it's used on other pages (it might just be on my operating system). --
BroncoTroll☺ 03:24, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, when using a link on the page it links to, the link won't work. Meaning, if you use the sig on this page, your talk page link won't work, because this is already your talk page. Likewise, using it on your user page will make the user page link not work. Anywhere else, both links will work. As for how to include your sig and timestamp without having to type it manually, type four tildes (~~~~). Make sure that in your preferences, the "signature" field says "{{User:Broncotroll/sig}}" and that the "Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)" checkbox is selected to ensure that it uses your custom signature properly. Hope that helps! — Defender1031*Talk 03:34, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- Ahah! It'all makes sense now! That does help, I was wondering why the four tilde shortcut didn't work before. Test drive! --

An aside, yes. I think my sig is probably the most confusing syntax on the entire wiki. It's because of the gradient and each character needing its own color code plus the fact that it's set up to automatically adjust for various holidays. Many have come before you trying to understand the mystery that is my signature and failed, and many will come after. Or... maybe not. But still, yeah, it's quite a piece of work. — Defender1031*Talk 03:43, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- HAH! An excuse to cut back on colons! I'll take it! I'll take twelve! Wow, I must not usually reference hr that much. It must be the wiki that brings it outta me. Anyway, yeah it looks like general relativity or something. Except in general relativity time slows down when closer to a black hole...- and in your signature, it slows down when, well, reading your signature. --
BroncoTroll☺ 03:49, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
- I took the liberty of fixing the "wacky fonts" for you. It should now look normal even on your user page and here. — Defender1031*Talk 04:58, 12 March 2013 (UTC)

Oh noio stuff
Do you even know about the oh noio and Bubble?
- Yeah, no. I just meant I was freakin' out. Apparently I'm out of da loop. Apparently is the wrong word, I was always out of the loop, I'm like past the solar wind of the loop. Or past the Observable Loopaverse. --

Adding a new thread on a talk page
Hey, here's a tip. To start a new thread on a talk page, just press the plus [ + ] button up there at the top of the page in between the edit and history buttons. Keep on tranglin'. — It's dot com 21:01, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
Ohhh... magical...
Woh. This is like an email interface. Thanks, dot com! ...How did you know I was typing it in manually? --BroncoTroll☺ 21:08, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- Whoa indeed. I could tell because your formatting was a little off from the automatic formatting the system uses, and because the section linker showed the previous section. — It's dot com 21:10, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
User Account
Thanks for recommending It's dot mom, I now have a user account. However, I will not be able to do anything with it for a few days, my Grandma just got out of the hospital (she had her appendix removed). So I won't be able to do anything big for a while.
