The article says that Strongbad's timing is out in the technochocolate easter egg. I don't think this is right - I think he's just singing on the off-beat. This is usually called syncopation, and it's commonly used in jazz, reggae, ragtime and, it seems, the Cheat's light-switch rave music. This ain't a goof - it's the groove, man.

Is "The Thnikkaman" a reference to Jay-Z "Jigga Man" persona? - Ben Mo

Intresting, but not a reference. Just a coincidence. – The Chort 19:01, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

The Cheat's Light Switch

In the E-Mail "techno", The Cheat got grounded because "the switch was not for throwing lightswitch raves." However, The Cheat does NOT get grounded for doing the same thing in the "technochocolate" Easter Egg. Zachio Image:Zachio-Cowd.png, 11:36, 11 May 2006

Maybe he had permission this time. --DorianGray

Beastie Boys

The Beastie Boys refenece seems a little generic, doesn't it? He could be starin' down the barrel of anything. -Foxtrotblues 18:11, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree. "Stering down the barrel of a loaded gun" or a variant is an old, old stock phrase. I'ma remove it! Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 17:49, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Technochocolate

I don't think Strong Bad's voice in the technochocolate easter egg being offbeat is a goof. It was probably an intended effect, in my opinion. Jimmy91 15:11, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

I seem to remember this

I seem to remember a commercial from back in the late 60s / early 70s for some kind of candy or treat that was like the Thnikkaman bit. (Snickerman? dunno) Someone was traipsing through town giving out goodies to all the children. Hallucination? Could be. But the memory persists. Compnum 17:48, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Great Email!

I love how there's all this background into things like Strong Badia and the Stop Sign and all that in these kind of E-mails!!!

Thnickaman?
