But a drive-thru whale that pops out from the ground, flies into the sky and appears far away from any actual drive-through, it would not be stupid to assume that nobody actually operates it. I assume that it is a character by itself, not just a tool. This would also work much better with the nonsense the whale says: A crazy whale sounds like a better explanation than one of the well-known characters reading out nonsensical messages. Anywho, either way is speculation, and I suggest that we simply remove the line "and presumably someone who operates the drive-thru speaker."{{User:Loafing/sig}} 02:50, 13 March 2008 (UTC) | Regarding [http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php?title=Blubb-O%27s&curid=39679&diff=550609&oldid=550568 this edit]: I had always assumed that the drive-thru whale acted all on its own. [edit] Appearances??
I knew when I started the page that someone might remove Drive-Thru from the list of appearances. However, neither Drive-Thru nor nightlife shows more evidence than the other that the "invisible" (as described by SB) restaurant was actually in the toon. In nightlife, a bag of food from the restaurant appeared, and in Drive-Thru, the drive-thru speaker from the restaurant appeared. So, at this point, which is more likely to be an "appearance" ? The bag of food could clearly be miles from the actual restaurant, and a mobile drive-thru speaker could also be miles from the actual restaurant. How can we list either as an appearance, or, alternatively, why wouldn't we list both? I hope I'm making some sense. Either we list both, or don't list either. That's my opinion. OptimisticFool 01:21, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
- Since both Drive-Thru and nightlife are linked in the opening paragraph, and since the restaurant doesn't strictly "appear" in either toon, I think we could do without the Appearances section altogether.

[edit] A Speaker Operator?
Regarding this edit: I had always assumed that the drive-thru whale acted all on its own. Yes, in a normal drive-through, someone would operate the speaker. Anywho, either way is speculation, and I suggest that we simply remove the line "and presumably someone who operates the drive-thru speaker." Loafing 02:50, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- I was of the same opinion, which is why I went ahead and acted. Am I too bold? -DAGRON 03:06, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not so sure I'm keen on the current wording, either. Some mention may be prudent, yes, but besides being speculation, it's a "may be" statement. -DAGRON 03:08, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- There's a difference between speculation and pointing out various interesting possibilities. Speculation is saying it may be this or that. In this edit, I have pointed out two strong arguments - an employee is voicing the drive-thru, and the drive-thru is an employee himself - and alluding to a third, left to the imagination of the reader, but certainly alluding to the possible supernatural power of this likely extra-terrestrial being. Perhaps it is in power all along. Hmm? This is in possible violation of explaining the joke, but I see it as poiting out the curious. - Qermaq - (T/C)

[edit] What is the source
None of the menu items are sourced, so I'm just going to ask, where exactly does the "Jalapeño 'n' King Snake Meat Double Deluxe" come from? --108.51.134.110 [Neumannz (talk)] 17:55, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
