Over the years, several Homestar Runner toons have referenced the Wild West and the many movies and television shows based upon it.

- Email pizzaz (Easter egg) — An old western style television show is featured titled "The Strong Bad".
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 13 — Tompkins's mother, Momkins, is shown dressed as a Wild West era prospector.
