Occasionally in the Homestar Runner body of work, a character (often a somewhat confused male) mentions being or getting pregnant.
Appearances
- Email garage sale — Coach Z implies that he is or wishes to be an expectant mother.
- Commandos in the Classroom — After Reynold makes a failed attempt to swear, he says that he "might as well go home and get teen pregnant".
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 10 — In an Easter egg, The Ugly One suggests having a baby for their tenth Teen Girl Squad issue.
- Halloween Potion-ma-jig — In an Easter egg, Homestar adopts a "shady drifter" impression and explains that his "wife" is pregnant.
- Email portrait — In an Easter egg, Strong Bad states that he "doesn't even need lamaze classes". Lamaze is a special class given to pregnant women preparing to give birth.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 13.2 — Marzipan says that she is "probably outside eating some dirt or something". Eating dirt, also known as geophagy, is a practice most often seen in rural or preindustrial societies among pregnant women. At the time this toon was released, Missy Palmer actually was pregnant.
- Email keep cool — Strong Bad asks Bubs if he would like to get together a game of "sharks and minnows", "Einstein and Kreskin", or "pregnant and seventeen".
- Email cliffhangers — Homestar momentarily believes that he is pregnant.
- On Break — Strong Bad mentions "maternity leave" as one of the breaks he has already taken that day.
- Flash is Dead! — Bubs brings Coach Z to his "Coach Z-free" fallout shelter so that he can "carry on the human race", to Strong Bad's disgust.
