Star Trek is a popular science fiction franchise that sprung from a T.V. series originally aired in 1966. Fans of the franchise are often labled as dorks or "Trekkies", and Strong Bad occasionally makes light of this stereotype. In spite of this, some characters in the Homestar Runner universe, sometimes even Strong Bad, seem to be fans of the series.
