The Champeenship is a karate/judo-type tournament held in a gymnasium. The previous champeen was Homestar Runner, and he had the #1 shirt to prove it. However, he was bested by the Wagon Fulla Pancakes, trained by Strong Bad, after it scored 7 points by hitting Homestar on his foot. Coach Z, acting as referee, then declared the wagon's win and the crowd cheered. After losing, Homestar sold his shirt for $3(US), which was a good deal.
The Wagon Fulla Pancake's training was reminiscent of the movie Rocky, including running up steps, and the Champeenship itself is a reference to the movie The Karate Kid.
