The ABA Basketball is a variant on the standard NBA basketball; it is slightly smaller and red, white, and blue instead of the traditional orange. This type of basketball appears to be favored in the Homestar Runner universe and by Strong Bad in particular. It is also a possible color scheme for Poms. ABA is an acronym for the American Basketball Association, which merged with the NBA in the 1970s.
