In the Halloween toon [[Jibblies 2]], the Horrible Painting plays a significant role, as he "jibblifies" everyone he comes in contact with.  The only ones who are left alone are Homsar, who himself jibblifies the painting (albeit temporarily), and Homestar, who actually follows his directions to "come on in here".  It is then revealed that the Painting just wants someone to entertain, and Homestar agrees to stay for eternity in exchange for everyone else returning to normal.
