ABA Basketballs have appeared several times on Homestar Runner. ABA is an acronym for the American Basketball Association, which merged with the NBA in the 1970s. The ABA was known for using a red, white, and blue ball, which was slightly smaller than a regulation NBA basketball.

• Pom Pom, Too - Among the many Poms in the third scene is an ABA Basketball Pom.
• Email new hands - An ABA Basketball is one of the left hand options in the Easter egg.
• Email different town - Strong Bad wishes for an ABA Basketball Pom Pom.
• Email space program - An ABA Basketball makes up part of the spaceship.
