Although '''toilets''' were mentioned early on in such instances as [[Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 1.0]] and [[halloweener]], they didn't appear anywhere on the site until end '02. First, in [[A Decemberween Pageant]], [[Strong Sad]] appeared to be "up-chucking" in a stall. In the following June, a latrine was put in the [[Ballad of The Sneak]]. However, in both instances the actual toilet was not seen, they were simply alluded to behind a closed door. Finally, on September 8th, 2003, one was drawn by [[Strong Bad]] in his parody book Strumstar Hammer, an easter egg in the email [[kids' book]]. After that groundbreaking instance, they began appearing more and more, each one looking more realistic than the last.
