In the Homestar Runner universe, there are several instances of a character's death or near death. As in many cartoons, such deaths are often impermanent, when the character later appears alive, often with no explanation.
Appearances
- In the Strong Bad Email homsar, Strong Bad "kills" him with the Heavy Lourde at the request of Vinnie C. Although The Brothers Chaps intended at first for him to be killed, he was later revealed to be alive but seriously injured, in Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 5.
- In the Strong Bad Email pom pom, Kevin implies that Pom Pom would be harmed if he was poked with a pin. Strong Bad decides to try this, except he would also be blindfolded and Pom Pom would be set on fire with the BMW Lighter. He believes that Pom Pom exploded in "a big fiery ball that was visible from space", when in reality he got a "severe pummeling" by Pom Pom.
- In Where's The Cheat?, Strong Bad calls Marzipan and pretends to be Homestar Runner, and he tells her that he shot and killed Pom Pom.
- In the Strong Bad Email pom pom, Bubs mentions having "almost died the 15th time."
- In the Strong Bad Email army, Frank Bennedetto "dies", after being kicked by Strong Bad. He is later seen alive in Labor Dabor.
- The main characters in Teen Girl Squad are killed off nearly every episode in a variety of ways, yet they always come back alive in the next issue.
- In the Strong Bad Email the show, Homestar says, "But it turned out I didn't die."
- In Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 2.0, Strong Bad as "Detective Everything" said Homestar was shot for being too stupid.
- The Cheat has his own song, The Cheat is Not Dead.
- In Parsnips A-Plenty, Sir Strong Bad falls off a cliff. He is later revealed to be in Hell in an Easter egg. In addition, he, The Homestar Runner, Old-Timey Marzipan and Fat Dudley were reduced to skeletons in That A Ghost.
