Each year, the Halloween Cartoons feature the characters dressed in different costumes, usually of pop icons and celebrities.

The costumes are generally "vintage," in that they feature characters who were popular in the 80's and 90's, although it is uncertain if this is simply a style choice, or done deliberately to give the cartoons a more "timeless" feel.

Marzipan	Jeannie	'I Dream of Jeannie' was a sitcom that aired for five years beginning in 1965. Barbara Eden played "Jeannie" and at the time her costume was nearly censored for revealing too much skin. According to the television show, she was more than two thousand years old, from ancient Babylon, and she could materialize objects or control any situation with the blink of an eye. The Poopsmith	Lazer Tag	Lazer Tag was created in 1986 by the 'Worlds of Wonder' company. Using Lazer Tag equipment, players could shoot sensors worn by other players to "tag" them. Worlds of Wonder ceased production of Lazer Tag equipment when it went out of business in either 1987 or 1988. Strong Bad	Carmen Sandiego	Carmen Sandiego was originally conceived in 1983 by a group of software designers at Broderbund Software. The King of Town	Hamburglar	Hamburglar is one of the mascots for the McDonald's chain of restaurants. He always tries to steal Ronald McDonald's hamburgers and his catchphrase is "robble robble". A fitting costume for the King of Town if ever there was one.
